I agree as a participant at PANPREV, Virtual Round-Table on Pandemic Prevention and Preparedness (hereinafter called PANPREV) to adhere to the following code of conduct.

It is the policy of PANPREV that all participants, including attendees, exhibitors, vendors, staff, volunteers, and all other stakeholders at the webinar will conduct themselves in a professional manner that is welcoming to all participants and free from any form of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation. Participants will treat each other with respect and consideration to create a collegial, respectful, inclusive, and professional environment at PANPREV. Creating a supportive environment to enable scientific exchange at PANPREV is the responsibility of all participants.

We expect participants to follow this Code of Conduct on the PANPREV Webinars and social media networks.

Unacceptable PANPREV Behaviour

Participants are expected to avoid any inappropriate actions or statements based on individual characteristics such as age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, nationality, political affiliation, ability status, educational background, or any other characteristics. Disruptive or harassing behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated.
Harassing conduct includes, but is not limited to: unlawful harassment, derogatory comments, epithets, slurs or negative stereotyping; threatening, intimidating or hostile acts; denigrating jokes; and written, electronic, or graphic material that denigrates or shows hostility or aversion towards an individual or group and that take place during online networking, via text chat functions, virtual question and answer sessions or elsewhere on the PANPREV site.

Reporting Unacceptable Behavior

Violations of this code of conduct policy should be reported to the organizers at icppp@mci-group.com. To the extent possible, PANPREV will endeavour to keep the reporting concerns confidential; however, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed.

Consequences of Unacceptable Behaviour

Upon receiving a report of unacceptable behaviour, PANPREV’s first priority will be the safety and security of Participants. Sanctions for violating this Code of Conduct may range from verbal warning, being denied access to the remainder of the meeting, to notifying appropriate authorities. Retaliation for complaints of inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated.

The following Agreements and Disclaimers are offered by and pertain to the PANPREV, Virtual Round-Table on Pandemic Prevention and Preparedness (hereinafter called PANPREV), and to the speakers, presenters, sponsors, exhibitors and volunteers (collectively referred to herein as the “PANPREV”), and the person intending to attend and participate in the Webinar.

YOU AGREE NOT TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST, OR SEEK TO HOLD, OR HOLD LIABLE, PANPREV FOR THE USER’S USE OF THE INFORMATION PROVIDED.
